The Northern Route 2009 Ride is dedicated to Michelle Long.
Michelle was a true Veterans Veteran; you could always unload your burden on her shoulders. No matter what your problem was, it instantly became her top priority. She suckered you with that smile and her hugs were known all across this country. She rode with us two years part of the way and in 2008 she got to go all the way.
She carried her own burdens as a Helicopter Crash Rescue Medic until the load finally became too heavy to bear. We will always remember her smile and that unforgettable laugh as we ride this year and every year after.
The Northern Route 2008 Ride is dedicated to John “T-Rat” Bain.
John Bain was a true motorcycle enthusiast, participating in the Run to the Wall in Cody, Wyoming for many years, as well as to D.C. and Rolling Thunder. He was a retired Army Vet, serving in Big Red 1 as a Tunnel Rat in Viet Nam, and with the Special Forces.
T-Rat, you are missed, we will see you down the road.
The Northern Route 2007 Ride is dedicated to all the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan. You are all heroes and will always be in our hearts.
The Northern Route 2006 Ride is dedicated to Kate "Lovie" Kintzele.
On May 23, 2005, Kate "Lovie" Kintzele was lost in an accident during our journey from Sacramento, Ca. to Washington DC. Like us, Kate was looking forward to attending the ceremonies at the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
Kate will be remembered by many and missed by all.
The Northern Route 2005 Ride is dedicated to Bruce Cameron.
Bruce was a long time supporter and participant in Run For The Wall. He was an inspiration and guiding light for many veterans and FNG's on their journey to "The Wall".
Ride on my brother and watch over us. We miss you.
