Welcome to the National Veterans Awareness Organization, Inc. (NVAO) website. We want our site to be informative, to help you understand the goals of our organization and to go into detail about the National Veterans Awareness Ride (NVAR), one of our primary activities.

Background: The NVAO was incorporated as a 501 C3 non-profit corporation in October 2006. Our organization is made up of people from all walks of life, veterans and non-veterans, who share a common sense of patriotism and appreciation for veterans of the United States military.

Purposes: Following are the purposes for which the organization was created:

To plan and support programs which show honor and respect to our veterans,
To call for an accounting of all POW/MIA’s,
To emphasize the importance that at no time is anyone left behind,
To educate all generations about the role of veterans in American society and that the price of freedom is not free,
To annually take part in and support Rolling Thunder and their efforts for government accountability of POW/MIA’s,
To honor the memory of our veterans killed in action,
To assist veterans in healing from war,
To carry out any other non-profit purposes permitted under the laws of non-profit incorporation.

Donations: The National Veterans Awareness Organization is a 501 C3 Non-Profit Corporation. Donations are gratefully accepted and are fully tax deductible. Checks should be made out to NVAO and sent to Paul Neeb, NVAO Treasurer, 9102 Warner Road, Saline, MI, 48176. Upon receipt of a donation, an acknowledgment letter will be sent to you that will be your documentation for tax purposes.
